Responsibilities:
- Content & Marketing Strategy:
- Drive the creation and maintenance of high-quality investment content, including pitch books, monthly and quarterly performance commentaries, market update notes, and bespoke client presentations.
- Client & Sales Support:
- Partner closely with institutional and retail sales teams to support asset retention and gathering efforts.
- Respond promptly to complex client inquiries, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Market & Product Intelligence:
- Continuously monitor global macroeconomic indicators, central bank policies, and credit spreads.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to effectively position fixed income products (both USD and non-USD strategies) against peers.
- Internal Liaison:
- Attend investment team meetings.
- Extract actionable insights from credit analysts and portfolio managers, translating highly technical quantitative and fundamental analysis into accessible, client-ready narratives.
- Investment Communication:
- Serve as the proxy for Fixed Income Portfolio Managers in internal and external meetings.
- Articulate investment philosophy, current macroeconomic views, portfolio positioning, and performance drivers.
Pre-requisites:
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry, specifically in asset management sales, marketing, product strategy, or investment research.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong baseline knowledge of fixed income instruments, bond math, and macroeconomic drivers.
- Familiarity with global interest rate dynamics, credit markets, and currency strategies is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven capacity to synthesize complex financial data and explain intricate investment concepts clearly and concisely.
- Analytical Proficiency:
- High attention to detail with strong quantitative skills.
- Experience with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Macrobond, Morningstar) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
