About the role

What you'll do
- Manage a caseload of BI claims from first notice through resolution, with early contact and a documented plan on every file.
- Detailed coverage analysis, risk shifting, and policy investigation.
- Investigate liability and coverage using rental agreements, police reports, statements, scene evidence and telematics where available.
- Obtain and review medical records, bills, imaging and wage documentation; evaluate causation, treatment reasonableness and future care.
- Value claims using injury severity, jurisdiction, venue, comparative fault and verdict trends.
- Set and adjust indemnity and expense reserves promptly as facts develop.
- Negotiate settlements within authority; prepare authority requests with clear rationale for higher amounts.
- Identify early settlement opportunities and flag files at risk of litigation, attorney involvement or excess exposure.
- Coordinate with defense counsel, nurse case managers, investigators and SIU as needed.
