As a Database Systems Evaluation Expert, you will help advance AI capabilities by designing challenging, real-world tasks that assess how effectively AI agents solve complex database engineering problems. You will draw on your expertise in database internals, query execution, storage systems, transactions, and performance optimization to create realistic technical challenges. Your work will involve building reproducible environments, developing reference implementations, and establishing rigorous tests and evaluation criteria. You will assess not only functional correctness but also reliability, concurrency, failure handling, and system performance. Working with technical reviewers, you will refine your tasks to ensure they accurately measure engineering judgment and practical problem-solving skills.
