ABOUT ALEPH
Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), an established software category with a multi-billion market but no clear winner. We’re trying to solve a problem many finance teams are super familiar with: data scattered across a million systems, endless spreadsheets and way too much time spent getting numbers to line up instead of actually using them to make decisions.
Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google, Microsoft and Bain & Company. We’re backed by top VCs (Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, YC, Picus Capital), and work with customers like Webflow, Notion, Zapier, Y Combinator and many others.
We are hiring remotely across the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM).
🔍 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This is Aleph's first Account Manager hire. You'll own the revenue side of our customer relationships -- renewals, expansions, upsells -- working directly with finance teams who hold vendors to a high standard and can tell the difference between a good pitch and genuine expertise.
You're not walking into a blank slate. We have a CS team that runs deep implementations and customers who are genuinely happy with the product. What we're missing is someone to formalize the renewal and expansion motion, build it into a repeatable playbook, and own it going forward.
That means showing up credibly on two fronts: you can hold a commercial conversation with a CFO, and you can work side by side with our CSMs to spot and develop expansion opportunities across their accounts. You'll report to our Head of Customer Experience and work hand in hand with our CSM team leads and commercial leadership.
This is a remote role open to candidates based anywhere in the US or Canada.
🧑💼 What you'll be doing
Build the Account Management function from the ground up -- start as a hands-on IC owning the motion yourself, then hire, lead and grow your own team of Account Managers
Own the end-to-end renewal process for a portfolio of accounts, from first health check to signed order form
Formalize our expansion playbook and scale it -- identify where growth potential lives, design the motion, execute it yourself
Partner with CSMs on account strategy; you bring the commercial angle, they bring the implementation depth
Engage directly with finance teams and economic buyers -- understand their workflows, speak their language, and connect Aleph's value to outcomes they actually care about
Track account health signals: usage trends, AI adoption, seat utilization, QBR context
Flag at-risk accounts early and lead save plans with CSMs and leadership -- case by case at first, then turned into a playbook
📋 What you bring
B2B SaaS experience (+8 years) in account management or customer success, owning renewals and expansions for a book of accounts
You've led people -- you've hired, coached and grown a team
Analytical and data-driven -- you use usage, health and revenue data to decide where to spend your time and to build a tight commercial argument
You've carried a number, hit it, and know how to close
You like building from scratch: writing the playbook, not just running one
Any of the following would be a plus:
You've sold to, or worked within, the office of the CFO, and you can hold your own with finance leaders
Experience building an AM or CX function at an early-stage, high-growth startup
While this is a remote-first opportunity, we're focusing on candidates within the Americas to better align with our working hours as a team.
