Position Overview
Our client is seeking experienced Frontend / UI Engineers to contribute to advanced AI-related software engineering projects.
This fully remote, project-based opportunity focuses on transforming visual materials—including screenshots, UI mockups, diagrams, and screen recordings—into challenging, technically accurate coding tasks with clearly defined and objectively verifiable success criteria.
Selected professionals will leverage their expertise in frontend development, user interface engineering, and debugging to create realistic technical challenges, develop working reference implementations, and evaluate the quality of tasks produced by other contributors.
Key Responsibilities
Design complex, multi-step frontend coding tasks based on screenshots, UI mockups, diagrams, and videos of real application workflows.
Translate visual requirements into precise technical specifications and expected application behavior.
Identify relevant source code, components, files, and artifacts required to complete each task.
Establish objective, reproducible success criteria to verify the correctness of completed coding assignments.
Develop functional reference implementations demonstrating the expected solution.
Read, modify, debug, and validate real-world frontend application code.
Review coding tasks created by other contributors for technical accuracy, clarity, and verifiability.
Identify and flag ambiguous, incomplete, or technically ungradable tasks.
Apply frontend engineering best practices to ensure reliable and measurable outcomes.
Collaborate through structured, task-based workflows supporting AI evaluation and development initiatives.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced frontend engineers and technically proficient UI professionals with strong, publicly verifiable GitHub contributions who are interested in applying their software engineering expertise to advanced AI-related projects.
Required Qualifications
Strong professional experience in frontend engineering, particularly with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable modern frontend technologies.
A public GitHub profile with substantial, verifiable contributions is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate meaningful activity through commits, merged pull requests, maintained repositories, or open-source contributions.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and delivering complex user interfaces and interactive web applications.
Strong ability to read, understand, modify, debug, and validate real-world application code.
Solid understanding of frontend architecture, UI components, application behavior, and interactive workflows.
Ability to interpret screenshots, UI mockups, diagrams, and screen recordings and translate them into clear technical requirements.
Experience defining objective, reproducible testing criteria and validating software functionality.
Ability to develop working reference implementations that demonstrate expected application behavior.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and technical problem-solving skills.
Strong written English communication skills, including the ability to document technical requirements, expected behavior, and verification procedures.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote, project-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with SVG, Canvas, graphics programming, or advanced UI rendering.
Experience in product design or UI design combined with practical frontend development skills.
