Rengo AI - Software Engineer, Applied AI

Rengo AI: AI-native data platform for alternative investment managers (NYC, $2M, Primary Ventures).

Comp: $165K-$290K + equity. Location: On-site 5 days NYC. Visa: Open to visa transfers (OPT, H1B).

Responsibilities

Work directly with asset managers and portfolio companies to build custom AI-powered data solutions

Own end-to-end delivery from discovery to production (Python, FastAPI, Temporal, React)

Curate customer-specific technical roadmaps: part PM, part engineer

Use LLMs/agents heavily on AI-native internal infra

High-autonomy work with founding team

Tech stack: Python, FastAPI, Temporal, dbt, Terraform, AWS, React, Docker, LLMs
