Senior/Staff Software Engineer - Tech Lead

In this role, you will provide hands-on technical leadership for the development of innovative open-source infrastructure supporting federated AI and privacy-preserving technologies. You will lead the engineering direction of a specialized squad building tools and benchmarking infrastructure for AI model ensembles, helping establish more transparent, reproducible, and accessible AI performance evaluations. Combining software development, system architecture, and team mentorship, you will play a key role in transforming ambitious technical concepts into reliable, production-ready solutions. You will guide architectural decisions, strengthen engineering practices, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable systems. Working closely with engineering and product leadership, you will help shape technical strategy while empowering a talented, globally distributed team.
