Staff Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer based in India.

This role offers an opportunity to provide senior technical leadership while building scalable, high-quality software systems in a SaaS environment. You will contribute across the full application lifecycle, from architecture and development through deployment, monitoring, and production support. The position combines hands-on engineering with technical decision-making, code and design reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration. You will help shape product features end to end while driving standards for performance, reliability, testing, and maintainability. A strong focus on API-first development, cloud-native infrastructure, and modern engineering practices will be central to your work. You will also play a key role in incident response, technical troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
